I have an idea for a business revolving around the food industry and the supply of food to consumers. The business is concerned about ensuring minimal environmental damage during its operation and uses some unique recycling and environmentally sound processes. I am in the process of putting together a business plan and would like to know how I can go about looking to secure funding to get the business off the ground? Try your local business link – google it – very informative, you can also search for a business angel – there are various sites advertising angels for new start ups, just do your homework. The Jobcentre will pay your £50 per week if you are unemployed and setting up your own business. Very best of luck – oh yeah, the Business Link site also has a template for your business plan.
Try getting a loan from the bank or looking for private investors – you can approach friends, family or local businesses that may have an interest in your service/product.
